Barbell cushioning.
Made wearable.

What is a barbell protection vest? VieVest is a wearable layer of dual-foam cushioning for contact at your collarbones, shoulders, and upper spine.

A cushion between
you and the bar.

Front-rack movements and back squats bring a barbell into contact with your upper body. VieVest places dual-foam cushioning at common contact areas. The vest is worn on your body, so the padding stays with you as you move between exercises.

Its purpose is straightforward: soften barbell contact and help manage rubbing at the padded areas. VieVest is designed for barbell training, including CrossFit sessions with repeated contact. It does not add resistance to the workout.

Padding with a purpose.

01 / FRONT RACK

Collarbones

When the bar comes to the front of your shoulders, VieVest places padding across the collarbone contact area. This is one of the areas that inspired the original design.

02 / BARBELL CONTACT

Shoulders

Dual-foam cushioning covers key shoulder contact points. The goal is to add a wearable layer between the bar and your body during common barbell movements.

03 / BACK SQUATS

Upper spine

The design includes coverage at the cervical spine for movements with the bar on your back. Follow the product’s positioning instructions before training.

Protection vest.
Different purpose.

A weighted vest adds load to exercise. VieVest’s purpose is barbell contact cushioning at the collarbones, shoulders, and upper spine.

A bar-mounted pad attaches to the bar. VieVest is worn on the athlete. That difference matters when you are choosing gear for a session that includes several barbell movements.

Choose equipment that suits your movement and fit. Padding does not replace coaching, appropriate loading, or sound lifting technique.

Before your first session

  1. Choose your fit. Small, Medium, and Large are listed in the store. Ask our team if you need help selecting.
  2. Check positioning. Use the official product instructions to position the vest for your movement. Confirm that it sits securely and allows your intended range of motion.
  3. Check your setup. Rehearse the movement with an unloaded bar before adding weight. Adjust the fit or contact the team if you are unsure.
